Fan wall guidelines

The wall shows what fans send us. Our team reads every story before it goes up.

How to send us your story

Use the form under the wall, on the fan wall page: your first name or a nickname, your city, the year it started if you like, your story in up to 250 words, and one photo if you have one. You can also send it to @afaseleccionapac on Instagram, or by email to hello@afa-apac.com, and tell us the name and city to show with it. Those we publish only with your permission.

What we love to see

  • Where you watch, who you watch with, and what Argentina means to you.
  • Your matchday rituals and lucky habits (your cábala).
  • Photos of your watch party, your shirt, your mate at 6 am.
  • Messages in English or Spanish. Both are welcome.

What we will not publish

  • Abuse, insults or harassment aimed at any person, team, club or country.
  • Racist, sexist, homophobic or otherwise discriminatory language, including in chants.
  • Political messages, including about territorial disputes. This is a football wall.
  • Song or chant lyrics. They are someone's copyright.
  • Advertising, links, betting tips or anything for sale.
  • Other people's personal details, or photos of people who have not agreed to be shown.
  • Anything unlawful, sexual or violent.

Photos

  • Send only photos you took or have permission to share.
  • If a child can be recognised, a parent or guardian must have agreed.
  • We make your photo smaller before it goes up, which removes its location and camera data.
  • By agreeing to a post you agree to its photo being shown publicly on the wall. See the terms.

If you are under 16

Ask a parent or guardian before you send us anything or add yourself to the map.

How the wall works

  • A member of our team reads every story before it goes up. Nothing appears automatically.
  • Review usually takes one working day.
  • A post shows the first name or nickname and the city you gave us, the year it started if you gave one, your story, and your photo if you sent one.
  • Once a post is on the wall, its name also appears on the fan map, at the centre of its city, with a link back to the wall. A post from "somewhere else" stays on the wall only.
  • We do not publish everything we are sent. Stories we decline are deleted after 30 days.

The fan map

Your pin shows a suburb or town, never an address. We keep the centre of the suburb, rounded to about one kilometre, and pins are grouped when the map is zoomed out. Choose a nickname that does not identify you if you prefer.

  • Every pin waits for a moderator. Nothing appears automatically.
  • Review usually takes one working day; on matchdays it can be quicker or slower.
  • Pins we decline are deleted after 30 days.

Changed your mind?

Use the contact form, choose "Remove my post or pin", and tell us the name and city shown on it. We will take it down. To report someone else's post, use the same form.
