- It first reached the top flight in 2014. It then won the 2020 Copa Sudamericana, South America's second-biggest club trophy.
- The yellow and green, and the falcon nickname, came from a local bus company that backed the club.
- It is a famous launch pad. Hernán Crespo coached the side that won the Sudamericana, and Lisandro Martínez and Enzo Fernández both played here on the way up.
