Three things to know

  1. The blue and gold came off a ship. The story goes that the club agreed to take the colours of the next boat into port, and it was flying a Swedish flag.
  2. Fans say La Bombonera does not shake, it beats. One side is a near-vertical wall of stands, and it moves when the hinchada (the supporters) jump together.
  3. Boca claims to be supported by "half plus one" of Argentina.
